Step-By-Step:
Step 1: Double cleanse the hair with Ashtae's Clarifying Shampoo and Volumizing Detangling Shampoo, then rinse. Follow by conditioning the hair with Ashtae’s Heavenly Silk and Shine Protein Conditioner, then rinse and apply Ashtae’s Moisture Plus Leave-In Conditioner.
Step 2: Blow dry the hair with a comb attachment then straighten the hair from roots downward.
Step 3: Section and separate the hair for the ponytail from the hair that will be braided. Follow by parting the sectioned hair from the side of the hairline to the crown of the head in a U-shape.
Step 4: Braid the parted outer section and apply Ashtae’s Lay and Stay Edge Control. Working from the hairline to the crown of the head, use parting rings to create a stitched braid in the parted U-shape.
Step 5: Brush the hair from the center of the head into small sections and spray with Ashtae’s Diamond Hold Hairspray.
Step 6: Create a high ponytail with the existing hair and secure it with an elastic. Repeat for each remaining section.
Step 7: Using a rubber band, add and secure two packs of synthetic hair, blending it with the natural hair.
Step 8: Divide the ponytail into three equal sections and begin creating a three-strand braid. Divide the remaining pack of synthetic hair into eight equally sized sections, then add it throughout the three-strand braid to keep the hair's consistency.
Step 9: Roll the remaining ends with blue perm rods, then set them by dipping into hot water. Allow the rollers to cool, then remove.
Step 10: For a festive touch, add decorative hair pins or ornaments throughout the braid and as desired.
Step 11: Finish by applying Ashtae’s Diamond Hold Spray and Sili Gloss.
