Which Clients Will Love the Uptown Bronde Collection?

The Uptown Bronde Collection is perfect for clients who want an on-trend hair color that captures the timeless elegance of Uptown Manhattan. It’s ideal for clients seeking a luxurious yet low-maintenance hair color with plenty of depth, dimension, and shine. Redken Gray Blending

Blend Grays

For those looking to cover grays, these Color Gels Oils shades deliver up to 100% coverage. They’re also excellent highlight or lowlight options for reducing contrast on clients transitioning to gray

Add Depth With Redken Uptown Bronde Collection

Add Depth

Gray hair naturally lacks depth, which can cause some colors to appear hollow. Adding these shades to your formulas can help restore background and tone to the hair without leaving it looking overly warm.

Natural Vibrancy With Redken Uptown Bronde

Achieve Natural Vibrancy

Add these shades to your coverage formula if your client’s color is looking too flat or dark. Color results that look muddy are often too cool and lacking the right balance of natural tonal warmth.

Redken Liquid Color Application Tips

How To Use Redken's Uptown Bronde Collection

The unique consistency of Color Gels Oils allows for flexible application methods, whether opting for a bottle or brush technique, to accommodate various stylist preferences and client needs. Here are some application tips to help you get the most out of the Uptown Bronde collection:

  • Practice Makes Perfect: Bottle application can give you high-efficiency application, but it can also feel awkward and challenging at first. Keep practicing and, if the product is coming out too fast, try using the offset nozzle of the Redken Bottle Applicator to restrict flow and give you more control.
  • Don’t Wait Too Long After Mixing: When you’re working with Color Gels Oils, it’s important to begin application soon after mixing. The chemical process of oxidation begins as soon as you mix the color with the developer and the longer you leave the product in the bottle/bowl, the more it will oxidize, giving you less deposit in the hair.
  • Stir Vigorously for Bowl Application: If using a bowl, remember to stir your product with the developer until it’s full incorporated. Bubbles should begin to appear and the mixture should hold to your brush as the texture thickens.
