Step-by-Step:
Cutting the Fringe
- Prepare the hair with Surface All In Leave-In Conditioner as the ultimate cutting lotion for detangling and control.
- Section hair at the front corner of each side ridge and create an arc.
- Working with the fringe section as a whole, create a 1/4-1/2" section in the center and bevel under with a razor at the bridge of the nose.
- Use the razor to swing the remaining hair on each side (front to back).
- Use the RZ Fine Blender (or a similar texturizing shear) to blend the fringe, gliding the Blender in the same direction as your fringe.
Styling the Blowout
- Prepare the hair with Surface Blowout Primer and Blowout Gel Mousse.
- Rough dry the hair approximately 80%.
- Section the hair and, using a round brush, blow dry each section towards the face.
- After each section is dried, set it with a velcro roller.
- Allow the hair to cool for 20 minutes to set the style.
- Finish with Surface Blowout Dry Oil Spray to lock in your style and add tremendous shine.
